Use a spare graduation announcement to make this incredibly easy graduation cake topper!

I love cake bunting.  You know, those adorable miniature buntings people stick on top of cakes.  So fun, so festive, so cute and tiny!  (I'm a sucker for anything miniature).

When I saw the graduation announcements from Colleen's graduation party, I immediately thought of using that element from the card in a cake bunting.

Look how perfect it is!  The ideal size, already printed out in color...  This craft practically made itself!

I just needed an extra graduation invitation, a couple bamboo skewers, some baker's twine (any string or ribbon would do, but baker's twine is so cute!), scissors, and a hot glue gun.

I just tied some twine to the bamboo skewers, cut out the 2014, and glued the numbers to the string.  See, I told you it was easy!
