We're back from our whirlwind trip to California!  An Irish step dancing competition for my daughter:

The feis was an excellent excuse to visit San Diego, catch up with some friends, and spend some time on the beach.

After the competition on Sunday, we headed up to LA to visit more friends on Monday, and then over to Disneyland on Tuesday!

I hope you'll forgive the lack of a block post yesterday, and the late one today, because seeing this expression on my daughter's face was totally worth playing hookie!

Tomorrow I'll start with all sorts of wonderful posts relating to the fall issue of Festivities magazine!  I'm back, and I have so much to share!
