DIY Yarn Pom Pom Snowball Fight Kit
Materials for DIY Yarn Pom Pom Snowball Kit:
- soft yarn (more on the thick and fluffy side than thin)
- pom pom maker (optional, but awesome!)
- sharp scissors (I like using embroidery scissors)
The snowballs for the DIY snowball fight kit are simply large, fluffy, soft yarn pom poms. And they're SO easy to make with a pom pom maker! You certainly don't have to use one of these tools to make pom poms, but they make the process easier, and faster, and yield much more consistant results. And it costs less than $10. I'm in love with these little gadgets (which is why you're suddenly seeing so many pom pom crafts here on the blog!).
My snowballs were made with the largest size in this pom pom maker kit.
You can use any kind of scissors to cut the yarn off of the pom pom making form, but I like using embroidery scissors. They're shrp, and they have a nice, tiny, pointed tip that makes it easy to get in and cut the yarn at just the right place.
I found several great packaging ideas at my local dollar store. This cute snowman gift box was an easy choice.
The wine bottle gift boxes, also just $1 at my local dollar store, were also a perfect container for holding the snowball pom poms.
