My daughter recently had a birthday party to attend, and as you probably already know, I'm a sucker for creative gift wrapping. I didn't have much time, but I DID have a bag of assorted balloon shapes and colors I never got around to using for Niamh's Stampy Longnose Minecraft birthday party.
Welcome to June's Taste Creations Blog Hop, where I team up with some of my favorite bloggers each month, and we all share recipes on a single theme. June's theme: Salad Bowl.
Today is the last day of school for my girls--6th grade and 1st grade. I made fortune cookies again for my younger daughter's teacher, and for one of my older daughter's teachers, but the English teacher needed a special gift. Clearly, this is a situation that has to be remedied.
I had fun testing out my patriotic ice cream cones with actual ice cream yesterday, but I actually had a different plan for them: patriotic cotton candy faux ice cream cones!
I needed a gift bag for the kids to hold their loot at the Stampy Minecraft birthday party, and came up with this incredibly easy craft to add Stampy Cat to a plain yellow gift bag.
I don't really like human-shaped pinatas. But a pinata shaped like a creeper (one of the monsters you kill in Minecraft)? That seems appropriately thematic to beat to smithereens at a Minecraft birthday party.
